The Bay of Cannes, also called the Gulf of La Napoule, draws a south-facing crescent where more than 9km of sandy beach stretches. Formerly linked to the legends of St-Honoret and the Iron Mask, Cannes is now world famous for its International Film Festival and its Croisette.
